Black Jew Dialogues: A Social Justice Comedy Show |
|
|
|
|

Brought to you by the Jewish Student Union, Hillel of SDSU, CASE and AS.....
Written and Performed by Larry Jay Tish and Ron Jones Directed by Margaret Ann Brady
Who knew that slavery, bar mitzvahs, rednecks, and chicken livers were so funny! A hilarious two-actor multi-media romp of sketches, improv, theatre, and video reveals the absurdity of prejudice and hate within the context of the American Black-Jew experience.
BUT! Don't let the name mislead you! This is a comedic program geared toward exploring the story of all the groups that were/are a part of the American immigration experience. (It's just put on by two men, one black and one Jewish!)
These two men have traveled across the country for years doing this event. They have already been to 60 college campuses and are excited to bring what they do to SDSU!
This event is FREE and open to all students and the public!
We hope to see everyone there!
Don't Forget to check out their website.... www.theblackjewdialogues.com

Learn Hebrew with other Jewish Singles in San Diego. Come join the Tarbuton Ulpan Class for 20-30 somethings. This class is for Beginners who missed out on learning conversational Hebrew and would love to be able to speak Hebrew with Israeli friends, use their Hebrew when they visit Israel and just learn a 2nd language for fun. No prior experience is needed. Our focus is a cultural one; we do not teach reading/writing or include any prayer/religion. It’s a great way to learn Hebrew, with a heavy Israeli flavor, and meet new friends who are also 20-30 who love Israel.
